Graham Marsden - so you got me thinking. I had to lay on the floor and practice my Oreo/ pop-up - I am pushing hard through my torso/midsection but my thighs/legs are almost off the board with no weight on them at all. Do I need to instead push weight through legs(top of feet almost) to get the most from this technique? That could totally explain why I am catching the wave so late - not getting the push from the wave from the tail of the board, rather the mid-section under my waist.
