That works, but I think you needed to put the camera in portrait (vertical) instead of landscape (horizontal) 🙂

Regarding the walk up, I'd suggest looking again at the videos of Ant demonstrating the walk up and try to follow along with those.

Interesting, but rather overlong and over explained.

The simple version is to buy a Carver Triton with CX trucks (OMBE recommended type) that has a Wheelbase (measurement between the rearmost bolts of the front truck and foremost bolts of the rear truck) which is 1/2" or 1.25cm longer than the distance between the arches of your feet when you're in your surfing stance.

BTW, that guy also copied the "Coffee Cup Arm" term. When I commented that he should credit Clayton for the idea, he deleted my post!

A long sleeved sweatshirt and jeans would be enough as you wouldn't be going at high speeds.

Personally I use helmet, elbow and knee pads and wrist guards all the time and the shorts when I'm trying something different that's outside my current skill set.
