When I was a kid I loved the Old Spice advert with Carl Orff's O Fortuna belting out behind it (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmwEC70Psgo ) We used to go to Croyde Bay in north Devon and stay at Ruda holiday park and I wanted to do "proper (stand up) surfing" but my parents would only spring for a wooden body board 🙁Wind the clock on about 35 years and I thought "I've got the time, I've got the money, I've always wanted to do it", so I found a campsite (again in Croyde) paid for some lessons from Surf South West and got hooked!
