Look at the stick surfing and skating drills to help you practice getting your coffee cup arm forward and your shoulders and hips square.
Also check your back foot is at 45 degrees from the nose too.

Emily Brooks I always tell people to put their back foot at 45 degrees because if it drifts outward it probably won't go beyond 90 degrees.
If they start at 90 degrees, it's only going to get worse...
