I try to get there on Friday’s every couple of weeks. Really enjoy it and despite how I may look, I have improved.

Thanks Graham and Maria. Appreciate the insights. The right knee is likely the result of the walk up first step where you create space by plank and then bring your back foot up with your knee pointing outward. Ultimately, the core strength and flexibility need work.

Good day all, I’ve been practicing the Oreo biscuit method and pushing my legs down to better harness the power of the wave before pop up, it’s working well. While I know I have a lot to work on, and I have some really bad habits built from poor surfing over 30 yrs, I would appreciate some feedback on my walk up (pop up) and ways to get my front leg through more easily. I am working to keep my head up and look down the line but with a herniated disc in my neck and lower back it’s going to take a bit of time. Thoughts? Thanks
