Matt I'm no expert, but I'd say it was a great idea👍

You're going to be spending a lot of time paddling out, so something that let's you work out your back and shoulders is going to help.

Just remember to maintain the Superman posture with your head up, back arched and legs straight.

Get the elbows high so you paddle like you're trying to reach over a barrel and pull with the lats, not just the shoulder muscles.

PS 45? Youngster! 😉

And a Happy Xmas to you and yours 🤙

Scott Wagenblast As Clay says, think of it as a take off.

At the moment the nose of the board is up in the air, so you're coming down on the tail.

You look very back foot heavy.

Even in the recent example you appear to be making the top turn by sitting back and bending at the waist so you're stomping on the rear foot, instead of getting on the front foot and twisting while engaging the rail.

Try to stand up straighter to bring your hips forward and compressing on the leading leg, then lift your right hand so you can put the elbow in your back pocket whilst you push the coffee cup through.

What content are you looking for?

If you mean the Beginners or Intermediate Pathway, you should find it in the app under Browse/ Insiders Surf Lab, then Surf Start or Surf Smart.

Hope that helps (although I do agree that finding stuff is sometimes rather difficult 😕 )

I wish I could afford to get to one of these... 🙁

The foam and the power is behind you, but you're racing away from it and looking at the shoulder where there's less energy.

Look back and you'll go there 👍

I think people have posted sessions on Flow Waves to the Live chats in the past, but I couldn't tell you which ones.

Due to scheduling problems and Ant moving on to concentrate on his speaking jobs, the Live chats are on hold, but Clay is posting the analysis clips in the Insiders Group.

You may be a bit heavy on the back foot as the tail is buried in the water but the nose is lifted.

Had you been on the front foot you'd probably have thrown way more spray.

But this is the point where you extend and push the shopping trolley towards the foam 👍
