I think people have posted sessions on Flow Waves to the Live chats in the past, but I couldn't tell you which ones.

Due to scheduling problems and Ant moving on to concentrate on his speaking jobs, the Live chats are on hold, but Clay is posting the analysis clips in the Insiders Group.

You may be a bit heavy on the back foot as the tail is buried in the water but the nose is lifted.

Had you been on the front foot you'd probably have thrown way more spray.

But this is the point where you extend and push the shopping trolley towards the foam 👍

It looks pretty good, but my question would be what were you thinking about doing afterwards as your gaze is down the line instead of at the bottom of the wave where you will be next.

John Kuras  Fair enough, I saw the board apparently shooting upwards which is usually a sign of being back foot heavy. It's difficult to see the exact shape of the bowl from a single video point of view eg I'm not sure of the exact layout of the section where you do your second turn.  Maybe you could give us a quick walk around of it so we can see the layout properly?

John Kuras  Your first turn is looking better, although you seem to be flinging your arms around a bit, trying to force the turn, instead of going with the board.On the second, I think you're letting your weight sit back on your rear foot which is what is causing you to lose the board as you go up.Did you try the other end of the bowl?

John Kuras It's a matter of getting the timing right and, believe me, it's a bit tricky!

This is what I understand of it:

You compress before the banking, then, when you're going up, you extend like you're doing a cardboard slide.

As you lose momentum, just before the apex, start to compress and twist, so you kiss the knees as you pass the coffee through and put your inside elbow in your back pocket.

That should help you turn your body and knees to point back down the ramp and you look to where you want to go.
