That first turn is really good John. You looked and pointed with your back hand and it looked really smooth. The next turn you don't look and point. Probably a confidence thing? If you commit to trying to look and point back at the camera I think you'll nail it BUT please wear a helmet bud. No shame in looking after yourself and it may give you more super powers 🤠

I'm having the same issues but I think it's a speed issue. Centrifugal Forces will only work and allow you to drop your head if you are travelling at speed. Try leaning your push bike on a turn when you're going slow and you're gonna kiss concrete. Speed is your friend on this occasion me thinks 🤔

Hi bud. Sorry to see you've left OMBE. Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all you've done for me and my surfing journey over the past 3+ years. It won't be the same without you. Best wishes for the future and please let me know if you plan another trip to the UK 🇬🇧 Be great to share some waves 🏄‍♂️🤙

Hi Michael, Paddling, Oreo, Glide, Looking and Walk Up all very good to me but once you do pop up, you're very side on. If you can bring that back hand forward (coffee cup) it will put you more Front On and then your bend will become more of a forward lunge, allowing you kiss the back knee and touch the wave face in front of you as you look up to the top of the lip. You do touch the wave face with your back hand but I think it's too far back?

What board are you riding and what were you trying to do that you think you could have done better on that wave?

Tempted to ask if you've got any footage 🤪 but if you're executing top turns are you twisting, snapping or carving? I think Clay would say that you need to repeat your take off, looking where you want to go next and adopting the forward facing sprint position, with your coffee cup arm up and pointing where you want to go. It's more of a lunge than a bend?

Hi Brian. I have a 7ft 8 Ryan Marco mini mal and, like you, can feel the lift on most waves and execute the Oreo without any issues. I also have a 6ft Puddle Jumper and at 42 litres I can still do the Oreo take off on the shoulder but you can't rely on feeling the tail lift unless you're closer to the pocket or on steeper waves. What size waves and where on the wave are you trying to take off?
