Also, Michiel van Gerven says to turn your upper body more than you feel like you need to (instead of opening your shoulders up to 180 degrees, open to 270 degrees)

Yeah, it kind of looks like your posture and stance are preventing you from twisting - and we all know that if your twist is broken you will lean instead!

Sorry, I don’t have any knowledge of anything in that area. Maybe try the south coast, they are a dedicated bunch down there ( you have to be in those conditions!)

Looking at grahams photo above, maybe you aren’t bringing your knees high enough for the board to bounce back off the foam and come back down?
