Try having both hands in front of you as if riding a bike

Get another - one for each hand!

Two things I would start with -

1. Look at the wave as you are paddling in and don’t take your eyes off her for the entire ride!

2. Both arms in front, like riding a bike. Your back arm is a bit chaotic and throwing your balance everywhere.

If you look and steer the bike where you are looking, I think you’ll see heaps of improvement

And to help with the relaxation as Graham mentioned, try singing a song. ‘I want to ride my bicycle’ might be a good one, it’s a twofer!

Graham I think we can only really expect continued free access to new OMBE content. Surflab is surely a different business - if it’s a conglomeration of OMBE, Surf Strength Coach and World Safaris travel they wouldn’t be able to just give all those people free access?

You have to try these holidays. They are priceless for your surfing

I think you can find them on the website but I’m not sure. They book out pretty fast so you would need to be on your toes.

From experience, they are amazing. Not just for the improvement in your surfing but also in the new friends you make.

The bosu ball shows you how small movements can make a big difference. For example, turning your head will shift your weight and that is really obvious when done on the bosu.

The surf skate is just as valuable but in a different way. You could try in a skate park (or on a slight hill) to do the same moments on a surfskate that you would do on a bosu to feel their impact, though it might not be as immediately obvious.

But please wear all the padding!

Is your stance a little too wide? That could make it a bit more difficult to get those knees kissing. Once the knees are able to kiss, it will be hugely easier to get front on. It could be an adjustment of just an inch to make a difference
