Big improvement. Think of the top turn as another take off. You need to finish up over the front foot to accelerate down the wave again. Focusing on this will transform your movement

You are on point with your statement. Trying to force the board to go mid face to the shoulder. Also would that board fit if you did change your line as it looks long ,flat and wide?
