Gently lean your head over the front foot rail. It’s like riding a bike. Clunky at first then less is more at the end

The twist to turn was locked up because of where he looked ie the shoulder instead of the foam. This turns the twist into a lean where he caught rail. Where you look you go

On my personal pop up I’ve had to focus on the line I want to take and to point my arms where I want to go. My feet tend to follow my eyes and arms. You need to find what works for you as we are all unique individuals. As a general rule it needs to be top down focus

Your mind works in cycles of about 45 minutes. I often see Mick fanning take short intense surfs at a high work rate to help his focus rather than more time with low focus and fatigue
