24 sec wave seems longer. Lol
Hi. Here is some surfline footage. Now had to do knees to get up due to surf foot injury. 2 weeks ago my toe did a 🤙🏼 so still healing. Not broken. Worked on catching waves, it was small, avoided crowds, look to go and atay on face of wave. However it was a blast ! Clear water. Party waves alohA spirit with the attitude of “one more” had a blast. 72 water temp cute swimsuit and wearing hat. Did softop wavestorm for fun day
Caught some decent sized hurricane swell in Wrightsville Beach today on a brand new Machado Cado at 38L... big step down for me. Smallest volume I've ever ridden, caught a decent number of waves in a 3 hr session, definitely improving. Don't surf as often as I would like due to lack of waves in myrtle beach area most times, but I've been surf skating the local bowl at least 10-15 mins a day between dropping my kids off at school and being at work myself. The lessons and program and the surf skating tutorials are helping make me that small % better every time I go out. For sure need to work on my paddle endurance and low back endurance though... 3 hrs is gonna have my old man bones aching tomorrow. Today was a good day... Passing on the stoke... thanks for all that you guys do if it can help me it can help anyone. Yeeewwwwww!
Hey OMBE fam!! How’s your summer been? Have you been getting out? Practicing your drills? Are you progressing?
So amazing today. A sea world dolphin 🐬 show while patiently waiting for waves like 75 of us. A bit anxious due to the last fin to the head accident but went back out with the crowd with helmet this time. Worked on “ looking to go”. Doing better. Breached dolphins and flying in the air so spectacular. Grateful.
Hi Everyone
I'm back from Bali. What can I say - I loved it, hated it, wanted to come home, never wanted to leave.
It was unreal, except for a bout of Bali Belly.
Didn't do a huge amount of surfing. It was too big for me, but spectacular to watch.
I did find the courage to go out into what was probably the biggest surf I have ever been out it.
How big is that? I don't know. Big enough that when it looked like a wave was going to break on top
of me, I didn't just sh_t myself, I began to pray in earnest to the man upstairs.
Surfed mostly at Dreamland, which at high tide developed a really wicked dumper right on the sand.
This made it scarier getting out of the water than getting in.
It wasn't a complete disaster I decided to pick up some of these bigger waves after they broke, some
reformed enough for me to ride a bit of the face so I chalk that up as a win.
Surfing is your own journey but when you share it across the So cal state in coalition of surfing from Baja to Santa Cruz you are part of Ohana. Dedicated and family when we lose special people in our Ohana. Blessed and grateful.
I want to put a skate ramp in my back garden in the UK, do you guys have any suggestions? I've thought about surfskate wave ramps, mini ramps or a bowl like the OMBE one if you guys have any dimensions please? Anybody else put a ramp in their garden and any thoughts whats better?
