Ok, it 6 feet 4 inches, 19 1/4 wide. It’s an old board so it’s a bit yellow and looking at it there is some damage to the tail. But I think you could get this repaired by a shaper for about £40, or do it yourself with some sun cure. The board bag is an ocean earth day bag

It’s really hard to see on that clip because you are tiny! But for me the biggest thing is your not looking at the foam. Your not making the cut back because your not looking where you need to go. I think you should be looking back at the top of the wave. That’s the main thing. Beyond that hands. Your coffee cup hand should be up to your face and your leading arm needs to get out the way. Twist your wrists. Finally posture, I think you need to be a bit more front on. Hope this helps!

I guess really you should get used to the back foot moving from time to time. If you want more control on a turn it’s over the tail pad. If you want more speed it’s forward from the tail pad.

So I think as you come down the wave. You will have a lot of speed, your weight will be forward and you will want to be engaging the rail for the bottom turn. So you will be leaning. At this point it’s probably not vital that your back foot needs to be right on the tail pad. From this point you will be looking to extend your boy, throwing arms up to get to the top of the wave. It’s normally just before the next move that I may shuffle my back foot back slightly to the tail back, because I’m either cutting back, down to the bottom of the wave, snapping or top turning. Hope this helps, it might not be correct, but it’s what I do!

I live in London, the closest place to surf will be in Bristol at the wave. Depending where you live in London that’s 2- 2h 30 mins away. If you want an ocean surf I would say the closest place is Porthcawl in Wales. Hope this helps!

I guess I would lean into the wave face. My right hand would be more forward and closer to the water and my left hand would be up.
