Graham Marsden oh nice! That’s better. I will admit, reading glasses had to come out for that one lol

Maria Molè That’s some URL!

Libby Stano The crash pants are heavily padded, but similar-ish to the biking. They’re for skiing, skating, skateboarding, etc. Graham Marsden gave me the recommendation. Here’s just one example, https://triple8.com/products/bumsaver-padded-shorts?

Hadyn Wood I’m sure you attempt riskier maneuvers in a pair of those. I don’t know why I never thought of it on my own!

And crash pants that I just recently learned about due to a member here. 😀

The one on the left looks like the one I bought as my beginner surfskate, NKX Maverick. It was super inexpensive and rides really nice. My other board is a GTS Longboard.

Working up the courage to get a little vertical… maybe after my crash pants arrive lol

Libby Stano You’re in OMBE Insiders? See included screenshot.

Roxy Susanne Gunther Keep doing it. It will start to click in the water. Make it a daily practice if you want it to be second nature. Like you, we don't have the opportunity to surf on demand so these drills keep me fresh for when the wind and tide and swell all magically line up.

Loving the life jacket!! :) If I were to give advice, I'd say same as Graham. You live in such a beautiful environment. The heck with NYC, we're moving somewhere warm, with waves and palm trees. I wish SIcily had consistent waves, I'd be there in a snap!
