That's a very politely put question Michiel. I am not offended, I have considered the fact myself and it is most likely true. I am transitioning from being dragged behind a boat on a surfboard (freeboarding) as a kid, to a surfer. I was pretty good at freeboarding if I do say so my self. Then one day, all we had to use was a big windsurfer board and to my embarrassment, I couldn't even stay on my feet. The board didn't move when I did and I wasn't used to that delay in response. I did surf a bit as a kid, as a result of freeboarding but wasn't all that good. Firstly when freeboarding your weight is on the back foot not the front, I didn't know it was the other way around for surfing, that was until Ombe and secondly with freeboarding we relied on our boat for speed, not the wave. I struggle with everything, without the speed. I am spending a week with Clayton at the end of the month and I have every intention of asking him your question, though so until then I will struggle on.........

Hey Maria, you say digitally. You don't mean I have to learn another computer skill like Zoom or something do you?

Hey nice job Blair. I had to put grip tape on my ball it was too slippery with bare feet

I haven’t come across the Bosu duck dive or the get up In speed generation I am practicing jumping onto the ball both feet and landing softly if you make it then you crouch but I am still trying to land softly

Hi Maria, I was looking at OMBE on my phone which seems different to the computer, I saw but can't find now a
post you made to Roxy about having a study group. At the moment I am a bit lost in all the info so that might be a
good idea. Or I need a spreadsheet or something to keep me on track. I just watched the video on Speed Generation
and it is nicely broken down into activities for beg, int and adv. So yes I'm up for something, as I write I think for me
a spreadsheet might work for me. I took some video of me surfskating this arvo which I will put on line for others
to critique.

Hi Roxy my Bosu looks the same as yours. I don’t know how to find it on the OMBE site but if you google Bosu Surfer you’ll find Clayton doing some tutes. I found my Bosu really slippery to stand on barefooted, tried sanding the base no better so went to the hardware and got some grip tape. I have no idea how you are going to get your foot up from what I see in the video sorry

Hello Brian I’m Libby, new to OMBE and indeed to social media this year so I am still finding my way. I actually did post 2 videos this week. I can’t tell what community you are in but my video’s are in the private one. So, where are all your videos. If you want a laugh I can download the video of me trying to Surfskate this afternoon, always a terrifying experience.

Thanks Graham. I have been a bit confused about my feet actually, or should I say my rear foot. But yes at times especially as I fatigue, my knee drags in the water on its way up. Thanks for the positive feedback - Libby
