If you don't mind a little suggestion, I would say that the problem here was that you're bending at the waist.
This is causing you to look down, your hands are pointing down and, as Clayton says, all of this is telling your board to go down, which it does.
If you look along the line as you pop up and raise your elbows to straighten your back, you can point in the direction you want to go which will help the board fit into the curve of the wave and put you in the right position for your bottom turn 👍

Philipp Unterreiner. In early videos, Clay suggested turning the front hand to "point with the thumb".
Personally I found that would "lock" my shoulder making it harder for me to twist.
I find raising the hand and "putting my elbow in my back pocket" makes it easier to twist.
You can always try both ways and see what works for you 👍
