First of all

💔

Stick skating will help with keeping that back arm more in front and allow for the open torso to twist

Slow - twist

Speed - lean

Surf with your eyes - look where you want to go - and everything else will follow

I think at one point Clayton suggested that a bad foot placement wasn’t such a bad thing as it enables you to correct it when you can see the line that you are going to take. As John said, it’s in one of the (millions of) videos! Practicing on the bosu ball does help get the muscle memory working but as with everything, when you change something you go backwards before going forward again (s-curve video!)

Video yourself doing it and post it here - you will get a lot of help. Video from front on and side on if you can. Start slowly…

What mat is that? Where did you get it from?

Love this.

What setting were you on?

I need something to aim for 😂🤣😂

Maybe your left arm is crossing in front of you stopping you from twisting at the right time?

Also, as Graham said, try to use your knees a bit more for the lift and drive

Wish I was this good!

John Kuras I love Brigantine

Clayton Nienaber is it from shaping? Constantly having your hand closed around something?

I would love to go back to Bali some day so a retreat there would be absolutely amazing. Also, I fancy Sri Lanka which is more local than the usual places (for us Europeans!). I know that Clayton Nienaber doesn’t do cold water!
