When they announce the next zoom session, they will send out an email with dates and times. The email will also have the link for submitting your footage

If you are looking for general feedback on your footage, then it would be best to upload to the community app (any problems email luke@ombe.co ). You will get responses from the community and the OMBE team (Clayton regularly trawls through with a few tips!).

This app is basically for watching and learning from the training videos and the other app is pretty much everything else

I don’t think that many people check the community section on here, hence the lack of responses

I’ve screen recorded and flipped it for the goofy footers out there. Here’s a link

Hey Rick

OMBE usually recommends the Carver surf skate with CX trucks.

I know they are a little more expensive but I had one as a Christmas present. Best present ever!

By the way, learning to skate in your 50’s is soooooo much fun. It really engages physically and mentally

Good luck

Clayton usually tells people to ‘stack their bones’ which takes the pressure off your muscles and joints.

If you post this question in the community app, you will probably get lots of responses

Hey Aleks

I would recommend that you post this in the community app - you are more likely to get a response on there.

I’m not able to get there for those sessions unfortunately

Ian Warren I hope that helps.

Any more questions, just ask (here or in the community app)

Ian Warren in the community app, there is a section for ‘events’. Once the zoom sessions (there are two - one for Europe time zones and one for USA time zones) are scheduled, they will be posted in there. Recently, an email has been sent out with all the info, including the link to submit footage, so keep an eye out for that. (It usually comes from Luke@ombe.co I think)

If you mark yourself as ‘going’ in the event section, it usually sends you a reminder notification that it’s starting about half an hour beforehand.

The training app is for, well, training! It like a catalogue of all the programs and previous zoom sessions in one place.

The community app is a place to ask questions and post footage if you are looking for general feedback from everyone. Say you are surfing today and you get film of it but you can’t wait until the zoom which is three weeks away - post it in the app. You will usually get responses pretty quickly and can get back out tomorrow and work on your surfing.
