Mini Simmons sizing

Does anyone have any experiences with Mini Simmons? One popped up in my neighborhood and it's very cheap but I'm also wondering whether I could make it work.

Any ideas on the sizing of those?

And no would it definitely would be my go to regular board, but I think the fun factor might be very high.

All things Stick skating. Really trying to control my arms and keep them for doing whatever they please. Think I still may need to keep my elbows tucked in more and closer to my body, but at least they aren't doing big wild circles.

Got a GoPro to film myself and it was a shock. Thought I was better than this.
First issue I found, is too tense, not blowing out. Second back hand is not coming to the front.
Felt very good on the wave.
Any advice please.

Working on some turns this morning. Still have a really hard time getting my left (front) arm up and behind me. Like I'm trying to put my elbow in my back pocket as Clayton says, my shoulder pain really makes that up and back difficult.
Also can't seem to stop dropping my hands low as I get ready to extend into the transition. I have a really bad habit of windmilling the right arm in a counter clockwise motion when going for the turn. Was trying to project my hand towards 12 o'clock, then just bring it in like touching the back of my hand to my face.
Not sure why this is so particularly difficult. I just never seem to have controlled of my arms.

Hey OMBE community, I'm hoping to get some advice. I usually ride a 7'4" midlength (Harley Ingley Moe) and through OMBE method, have gotten very comfortable doing the OREO method and catching a ton of waves and doing some maneuvers.  In order to progress and work on getting more vertical, I got a narrower 6'8" board (Lost Crow Killer).  Last few session on this board has been a challenge.  Mainly because I don't feel the lifting of my feet like I usually do with my 7'4" when I'm paddling into a wave.  This was typically a signal for me to arch my back and glide.  Now, all I feel is a lift under my chest.  I'm guessing this is to be expected with a shorter board.  But when I feel this lift under my chest and try to glide by arching my back, the wave tends to go under me.  Of course, a lot of Youtube videos say to paddle harder and lean forward, which I know is not the OMBE way.  Rather than continuing to struggle and create bad habits, I wanted to see if any of you out there went through something similar transitioning to shorter boards.  Thanks in advance!

Humming fins....?
I bought myself a little birthday present, e.g. a new board (you have to spoil yourself sometimes!). It's a Roger Hinds Tamago 7.4ft which I surfed today with a True Ames Greenough 4A 7" single fin and True Ames side fins. I had a really fun session but the fins are humming when the boards get's up to speed......?

What makes the fins hummmm.... do I need to do something about it and if so how can I prevent it.

The boards is currently nicknamed buzz Lightning but I am hoping we can change that name...

Junk swells?

Is it certain that any time there are overlapping swells, like shown below right now, https://www.surfline.com/surf-report/ho-okipa/5842041f4e65fad6a7708de8, the surf is super tricky and junky? Yesterday was like this, and getting in the right position was darn near impossible. Waves would not break or break abruptly.

I wish I had used a huge board and got chip shots so that I was up and riding before the waves broke!

FRUSTRATED!

Another one.... for Clayton Nienaber less arm throwing per your instructions. Did a little with my normal left arm dangling by my side, and a little two arm handle bar action. Legs were definitely burning today after leg day in gym last night and 10 or so 1 min laps around the bowl.
Also for Michiel van Gerven
Slowed way down and tried to show what happens if I attempt to shorten the turn in the back right hand corner. It gives me that awkward straight at the hip angle which Is where I've busted my own arse a few times attempting it.
And I do realize that going over that hip in the last few seconds looks like I'm way off balance that is simply cause I was worried about eating it there. Last time I landed on my hip and couldn't walk normal for 2 weeks and there may be waves in a few days from hurricane Milton so not trying to get hurt before a chance to surf.
