The surf guide named Nick, from the Sunshine Coast was surfing the Clayton board really well. He kept in the pocket with a very vertical attack. Occy and his sons were in the waves too. Occy had an incredibly vertical approach, often meeting the lip as it was 1/3 of the way down from the top. Waves were well overhead and 20km offshore on a coral reef pass, so it was a very bold and inspiring line to be taking.
