One thing that has helped me heaps is slowing down the take off you had time to glide in and pick your line

I think you could slow down the take off mate , slow is smooth and smooth is fast

Your doing great mate I do exactly the same thing, got a carver like 2 weeks ago just started on bowls and man the fear takes over when I go for that second turn
