Clayton one told me... Get comfortable walking up and down the board. It is difficult at first because every movement in the beginning makes things feel unstable... It gets easier with practice though. Start practicing with the backfoot by moving it forward and backwards a little at time, it will feel awkward and your feet will feel heavy. It gets better and be prepared to be on a wave and practice, as in dont do anything but go down the line moving your foot forward and backwards.
