Well done. There is a moment in between when you look down at the floor. You are either thinking about standing or something snuck into your thoughts. Try look up and lift your arms up to straighten your back. Smile play with it and don’t aim for perfection aim for easy.

In most instances a person would straighten and balance on there weaker leg and kick with their stronger leg ie back foot.

Keep the arm movements slow and smooth rather than jerky as you are training for water so try flow like water.

Next is your knees need to compress and extend to move you rather than thinking that your arms do this.

Hi Sam

It looks awesome. It all depends on the waves you ride and the lines you take. Waves always change and there is a time and place for everything. That’s the fun part trying to figure it out

Everyone is fixated on the process however the outcome is more important as we all have different bodies and dna.

The aim is to stand up and relax without tension to enjoy the feeling of riding an energy wave that is water.

Relax and stand more upright will make you lighter, alleviate tension and you can feel the wave better
