That was Meinhold and the board responded on cue. Relax and look at the foam earlier to make the board speed up. Also maybe time to change up for a more responsive board

Pop up is fine. It’s more the reading of waves. You surf into the flats and as you feel deceleration your posture drops. Pick a better wave with a better line and every thing changes

Make it fun. You push her in and get her stoked. Stand on alley and ride a bike. First peddle is acceleration and hands up to steer. Look and point. Then play on the other ave.

Slow down. Your body moves quicker than the board can travel so there is a disconnect. Keep your arms up to minimise reactivity. You go from 00-100 and it make the board wobbly

Great attempt. Bigger barrel la give you more room. Small ones are fast and difficult

Nice one. Just got back myself. Ok hands drop on the turn to balance yourself but you need to be off balance to have the board on rail for it to turn. You are fighting to control the ride instead of looking for flow
