Embracing the suck. I now realize that I am more of a beginner than an intermediate when I look at my videos. Putting my ego aside I must get to the fundamentals. this video highlight illustrates a few things I race to the bottom run out of speed and I am surfing sideways

This is a common issue I have where the negative over takes me. One of the ways I try overcome this is by breaking up my sessions by 30 mins

If I have not caught a wave in this period I get out of the water and reset

And ask my self

Am I in the right place for the wave

Is the lineup struggling to catch waves?

Did I miss waves or did I wipe out ?

Am I drifting into the shoulders and not at the peak?

Do I need to change equipment?

Sometimes I just say today’s not my day. Reset for another day
