Appreciate the advice Clayton. I have some good thinking to practice now relating to head up and looking, line including engaging rail on paddle, feeling the wave and bus stop. Is certainly a habit I need to address. Thanks

I’m hearing you Doug. I’ve done 2x knee operations and if 52. Agreed about the Sydney Melbourne differences too. But am still looking to crack the code that gives me the best paddle in and take off so I get the value out of my $10 per wave ….

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll give it a try…

Thanks Graham, I’ll focus on setting my rail and looking down the line…

Try taking your front shoulder over your toe side and your back arm further around to your heel side. As you start to go up the wall throw your front arm up the wall and then begin the rotation of both arms. Ps you are doing ace already and you will soon get the verification in the water as it translates 1 to 1.

Would be ace to understand shoulder width off the wall. Paddle start point from the indicators for the different sessions. Thanks
