Andrea Carlomagno First step I did was send the website to the neighborhood lap pool director and confirm they would be ok w/ me utilizing a paddle board during lap swim. The director was totally good with it. Next I picked the model I wanted (chose the O model), then reached out to the folks at Surfinshape, via their "Contact Us" link and asked if they had any blemished O's for sale. They did and sent me an email for my contact info and instructions on how they would invoice me. Once I got it in the pool, it really underscored how week my back/shoulders/core were (not easy to stay on at first) but after a few weeks, my paddling was starting to feel much more efficient and I was getting my head much higher off the board. They also have a few workout programs/suggestions on their page you can check out. Best of luck.

Coryn Daniel re: the 4/20-26 session - wondering if we're able to stay at the resort starting on the 19th or if check-in is not available until the 20th.

If you have a local lap pool, check first w/ them to see if you can bring this training board in:  SURFINSHAPE | Surfinshape™  It's a bit pricey but my paddling efficiency and endurance (as well as my core stability) has gotten so much better. Also, they sell "blemished" boards for $100 less (if they have some available) if you message them via their website "Contact Us" link. That's how I got mine and I swear, I could barely even see the blemish.  I'm pulling a mile twice a week (workout includes sprints and the medium/hard bucket resistance). Let me know if you want more details on the board or my workout program.

same! coming from Portland OR, USA. 2nd week. Not hearing a lot of info about the trip though - hoping that changes soon as I'd like to know what folks are doing to get ready for the trip. Also wondering when folks are arriving and where they're staying prior to the "official start date." Lastly, is everyone heading back home immediately after the session is over or is anyone interested in checking out other surf spots around Nicaragua/other nearby countries?
