For me Bellyboarding & Bodysurfing are increasing my wave understanding & wave energy reading ability which has helped my surfing, especially in blown out UK waves, when I might not surf. I know this is talked about  in Ombe but I reckon most people still skip this part, I know I used to. If your not doing it, take a step back and give it a go.
