Already some month ago a I had the feeling that Ant had already evolved too much … he grew out of the role of this beginner - intermediate „padawan“ sitting there with big eyes / stoked about all the golden Nuggets he discivered (and we with him). He was becoming more something Like a teacher. What made OMBE a huge succes (at least for me) was the Yoda-Luke-Dynamics! I always assumed that this idea of telling the Story was mainly Ants impact…. This is/was the unique thing besides the fundamentales and the idea of Surfing and learning how to do it Right.

I think this only is the end of OMBE Season 1. Im stoked to see what Season 2 will bring - and who will be the new Host / Charakter… beneath Clayton Nienaber? From a Development, Community and Business Perspective a Young Girl would make prefectly Sense. The exakt Opposite of Anthony Laye (sorry Ant 👻). This would bring the Game Potentially to an even more interesting Level and help grow Community 🤙

Maybe try to get Comfortable „falling backwords“ by recreating the Situation with your Surf skate ? Try to feel the twist in your hips and make Eye contact with the Foam….
