While live sessions will be on pause as we adapt to new dynamics with our two candidates, we’re thrilled to announce a fresh approach: your submissions will now be reviewed and shared here in the community!Here’s why we’re embracing this new method:✔️More Engagement: Posting reviews here encourages interaction and brings our quieter members into the conversation. Lives were limiting, as only those free at the time could participate.✔️Flexibility for Clay: With a packed schedule of retreats next year, this setup allows Clay to review submissions remotely during his downtime—ensuring faster and more consistent feedback.✔️Easier Access: Every review and takeaway will be visible to everyone, making it simpler to learn and improve without sifting through past live sessions.✔️Focused Feedback: This organized system will help you concentrate on specific areas to improve.🔔 A few reminders: • Submit one video at a time to give everyone a fair chance for feedback. • Avoid submitting distant or surf-cam footage—Clay needs clear visuals to provide effective, actionable advice.We can’t thank you enough for your support, patience, and understanding as we work through these changes together. Oh. And big win. Last year I moved to Oceanside didn’t know anybody didn’t know where to serve. I now feel super comfortable on where to go what I’m looking for what feels right for me and my new community. I’d say that’s a pretty big win.

Weekend review. All intentions were there. Oreo walk up glide
However bits and pieces occured.
2days. Wins: meditation before really helped my anxiety. Wearing heart rate tells me to chill. Breating ready to take wave say MAYBE and that worked. Position was critical this weekend. Today better than yesterday. Lowest hrate. 79. Highest stresd 142. That was after turtle roll. Ate it a few times BUTtook the chance for steeper waves.
Today rolly pollies my fav no stress fun playful waves.
All coaching from OMBE is in my head so that is a great foundation for muscle memory!

A few of us in the community decided we need a study group so we are creating the OMBE 6 Week Beginner Focus Group. We're kicking it off on May 26, over at OMBE INSIDERS. All Insiders are welcome. Look for the first post, depending on your time zone, between this Saturday night and Monday. We'll go week by week and immerse ourselves in magnificent OMBE theory, practice our land drills and then post our drill videos and discuss with one another. All you have to do is show up (digitally that is). We hope to make this fun for everyone and an amazing learning experience between our community. We're excited, we hope you are too!
