Lorraine Huber Hi Lorraine, yes that's correct however if you push your hips too high during the big triangle, this will throw you off balance, so I suggest that it should be high enough so your hips is level with your back down to your leg. If it's too high, your head will naturally be pushed downward and will cause you to NOT LOOK where you're going. Not looking or looking down will only result to you going in the water or falling over. Always look to the beach or where you want to go as you popup. Hope this makes sense!

Logs are really good for practicing your cross steps! Easier to catch small waves and to balance on when moving around the board.
