Back in the day. it was common for good surfers to surf either foot forward. especially during turns. Good luck. Do what feels best

HI Jake, you Surf natural, and skate Goofy? That's Weird😅 I waterski left foot forward and everything else goofy footed. I guess I"m weird too.

Hi andrea. Any soft top is good because their shape is similar to a longboard which is what you want. Vs a gun which can be the same length. But the shape isn't good for beginners
