Hey, Rick, I just went through the same thing. I'm 47 I got a penny skateboard with the extra wiggly truck and i almost killed myself. Switched to the Carver kai lenny C7. Tighten the truck a little bit ways better When you kick with your kickfoot, you have to be stable on your front foot.for me carver was the way.
