Roof racks cost a fraction of a board, and most cars can have then fitted. Plenty of roof rack suppliers/installers around. A few hundred bucks and you’re sorted. Any length board you want then .

Kerry Lynn Robbert ok I get you. Years ago when I stopped popping(advancing age LOL) my default was the old chicken wing. Now I know this is the OMBE forum but I also have a few of Cris Mills programs, and one that of those is the Perfect Pop Up program. It’s a deep dive into the Walkup method, and it certainly helped me enormously. Worth considering because it’s hours of videos and stretch’s just about the Walkup to Pop up. Plus the video analysis from Cris will help if u need it. On a side note the stretches that helped me are the hip 90/90 and the Spider-Man with twist. Check it out.

Mate if it’s smooth and consistent just go with it. Not everyone has to be textbook perfect. You can always adjust back knee into the kiss position once you’re up.

I have both and prefer the Carver. The Carver feels more stable to me. Plus it handles speed better. Just my 2 cents

Absolute go,d here. I didn’t realise I was doing this but first it was Oreo an look where to go. Over and over and over. Now it’s backhand bottom turn. . Skate training, compresss, kisss knees, look at the top turn. Now it’s clicking on the wave. Just incremental steps each time. Actually seeing it work.

Same same Pete. If I easily catch my first wave it seems to set me up for the entires session. I’m calm, confident and looking for that set wave. If I get a wobble on I start stressing and now I’m chasing the feeling.
