Hi everyone! Any advice on my snap/end turn? I’m pretty happy with my timing, bottom turn, and the initial arm movement, but I’m really struggling to complete the second half of the maneuver. I know I need to stay a bit more compressed, but aside from that, any tips? Really appreciate it!

I would say go more vertical with a tighter bottom turn... the board is quite far from you when you try to come back around. You loose control of it and your bodies forward momentum.

Could it be that this is an example of a broken twist? I.e. you're not twisting enough at the top which makes you default to a lean. (Unfortunately I'm an expert on broken twists)

I think your issue may actually be that you're not extending enough.

When you start the top turn your chest is bent forward and your front arm is blocking your twist.

Try bringing your elbow up and putting it in your back pocket and you should be able to straighten your back to look back at the foam.

Looking at grahams photo above, maybe you aren’t bringing your knees high enough for the board to bounce back off the foam and come back down?
