Hey Graham the surf has been crappy here but I went out Wednesday afternoon as a nor’easter turned the little bit of swell into large chop. I hired a board because mine is wrapped up ready to go to Bali tomorrow. I was alone in the surf and I gave myself the heeby jeebies because some one a few hours up the coast lost their leg this week

If I had to I would surf there but I’m unlikely to even get a wave

I had a watch of this despite not being at that level and I was interested that Clayton said that when learning to surf on rail a twin fin was easier/better. I have 5 fin boxes on my board so was wondering

which fin box you would use, the forward or the aft and would a quad set up be better than a twin. Just a general question for anyone in the 'KNOW' with nothing better to do than share their knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

Roxy, I have decided that if I continue dropping my chest and head to the board just before stepping up, I am going to get duct tape, push long nails through it, then stick it to my board under my boobs :) Just kidding. I am however seriously

considering taping one of those yoga blocks under them because if my chest doesn't drop, neither does my head. Knowing me, I will probably use the block to rest on though. If that doesn't help then the nails :)
